For 30 years, Cebu Business Month (CBM) has been part of how Cebu moves forward - not just as an event series, but as a platform that brings people, industries, and ideas together.

For 2026, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) carries this forward under a clear direction: “Padayon Cebu.” A reminder that Cebu’s progress is built through continued collaboration, shared effort, and a steady commitment to growth. CBM began in 1991 as Cebu Business Day, later became Cebu Business Week, and was officially declared Cebu Business Month in 1996 under Presidential Proclamation No. 748. Since then, it has evolved alongside Cebu’s business landscape-responding to change, but also helping shape it. In recent years, CBM has expanded into a longer and more integrated platform. The 2025 edition ran for several months and focused on four key areas: Digital Transformation and Technology, MICE Tourism, Creativity and Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. It gathered over 10,000 participants, with strong support from government, private sector partners, media, and industry leaders. More than the scale, it showed how much can be achieved when different sectors work toward the same direction.
CBM 2026 continues that direction; but with a more focused approach. This year’s lineup is designed to do more than convene. It is meant to connect ideas to action, and conversations to outcomes. Across two months, CBM 2026 brings together businesses, MSMEs, startups, creatives, and the youth in a shared space for collaboration and practical engagement. At its core, “Padayon Cebu” this year is not just about continuing programs. It is about strengthening what already works—and pushing it further where it matters most. CBM 2026 is led by Overall Chairman BRYAN YAP, together with committee heads and industry leaders across entrepreneurship, technology, tourism, creativity, and communications. Each plays a role in ensuring that programs are not just organized, but delivered with purpose and relevance. CBM has always reflected where Cebu is as a business community. For 2026, it reflects something more deliberate: a commitment to keep building and improving how growth happens. “Padayon Cebu” is a reminder that progress is continuous. But it is also a choice-made by people, businesses, and communities working in the same direction. As CBM enters its 30th year, CCCI invites everyone to take part in shaping what comes next by contributing to the outcomes they are meant to create. Padayon Cebu.
