The Cebu City Marathon will be on January 8, 2012. 2012's Cebu City Marathon will have the theme "Feel the beat, Get on your Feet". Cebu City Marathon is the event to watch next year in time for the Sinulog festivities. The starting point for the Cebu City Marathon will be at the Cebu I.T. Park in Lahug, Cebu City.

Regular Registration for the Cebu City Marathon will be from October 7, 2011 to November 20, 2011. Registration fees for this period for the Cebu City Marathon are as follows;
Cebu City Marathon 42K P1,000
Cebu City Marathon 21K P 700
Cebu City Marathon 5K P 500
There will be a late registration for those who wish to join the Cebu City Marathon. It will be on November 21, 2011 until December 15, 2011. The registration fees for the Cebu City Marathon late registrants will then be as follows;
Cebu City Marathon 42K P1,200
Cebu City Marathon 21K P 900
Cebu City Marathon 5K P 600
The registration Fee is inclusive of the singlet, timing chip, goodies and a raffle ticket. Runners during the Cebu City Marathon will get a massage and refreshments after the race. You may register for the Cebu City Marathon at the Active Zone at the Ayala Center Cebu. You can also register online to the Cebu City Marathon through www.cebumarathon.com.
There are some pre-race activities for the Cebu City Marathon. On January 4 to 6, 2012 will be the Race Pack Collection at the Active Zone, Ayala Center Cebu. On the same date and venue, there will also be the Marathon Expo which is open to all the registered participants of the Cebu City Marathon. On January 4, 2012 from 6 to 9 in the evening will be the Carbo-loading party for the Cebu City Marathon participants at the Terraces at the Ayala Center Cebu.

More participants are expected for the 2012 Cebu City Marathon specially from out of town and even more foreign runners are expected to join.
