Bamboo is so well known in the Philippines, he does not need any introduction. His real name though is Francisco Gaudencio Lope Belardo Mañalac. But as kid his mother gave him the nickname BAMBOO and the rest is history. He will be rocking the Cebuano stage once more with his upcoming concert - BAMBOO: UNA MAS CEBU EDITION 2019 on November 23 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. With his energetic performances and rock style, he is sure to ignite the very exacting and demanding Cebuano audience.

He is currently one of the coaches in the show -The Voice Kids. A former member of the band Rivermaya, who made famous songs such as "Hinahanap-hanap Kita" and "Awit ng Kabataan". He formed the band Bamboo and is well known for the songs "Hallelujah" and "Noypi". He then goes solo and released his first album entitled "No Water, No Moon".
