The Annual Celebration in honor of Santo Niño de Cebu is fast approaching. Year 2020 will mark the 455th year of the Fiesta Señor with the theme - Sto. Niño: Cause of our Unity and Charity. On 2020, Sinulog festivities will start on January 9 and end on January 20, 2020. Sinulog festivities usually commence with the Walk with Jesus Dawn Procession to kick start the 9 day Novena Masses at the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu and for the upcoming year 2020 it is on January 9. Then followed by the launching of the Sinulog Festivities on January 10 by the Sinulog Foundation Inc. and the City Government of Cebu. Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan will be on the Saturday after the launching, followed by the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Barangay on a Sunday thereafter. The Sinulog Festival Queen is crowned on a Friday before the Solemn Procession. On January 18, Saturday morning is the Fluvial Procession followed by the Solemn Procession of the Miraculous Image of Santo Niño in the afternoon. Then on January 19, 2020 will be the Sinulog Grand Parade, followed by the Awarding of winners and repeat performances of the victors on January 20.
