Now on its fourth year, the Bodega Design Caravan by the Cebu Culture and Art and Design Foundation (CCAD) returns with renewed energy and island soul celebrating the fearless, forward-thinking spirit of Visayan design.

What began in 2022 alongside the Visayas Art Fair has evolved into one of Cebu’s most anticipated creative gatherings a vibrant platform where craftsmanship meets concept, and tradition ignites innovation. More than a design exhibit, the Caravan is a living, breathing experience that captures the evolving story of Filipino creativity through form, material, and imagination.

Under the creative direction of Christina Gaston, President of CCAD, this year’s Caravan transforms the Oakridge Pavilion from November 13–16, 2025, into an immersive showcase of furniture, fashion, interiors, and lifestyle design. Every corner tells a story of hands that craft, cultures that converge, and communities that continue to define what it means to be proudly Filipino.

Culinary Canvas: Food as Design, Dining as Art

Adding a flavorful dimension to this year’s Caravan is Culinary Canvas, a multisensory experience where cuisine meets creativity. More than a food exhibition, it’s a living gallery where chefs are storytellers and every dish is a work of art.

Featuring a live culinary demonstration by Chef Ronald Villavelez of Sialo Cebu, audiences will witness flavor, technique, and artistry unfold in real time. Culinary Canvas celebrates food as both art and advocacy a reflection of local heritage, sustainability, and the evolving identity of Cebuano cuisine.

What’s New: Cebu Literary Festival Joins the Caravan

Also new this year, the Cebu Literary Festival (CebuLitFest) joins the Caravan for the first time, bringing with it Cebu’s vibrant culture of words, ideas, and creative exchange. Happening on November 15–16 at Oakridge, CebuLitFest will feature storytelling sessions, creative workshops, and its signature Art Market showcasing local crafts, journals, zines, and handmade works by writers and artists from across the Philippines.

This collaboration bridges literature and design, expanding the Caravan’s creative dialogue and inspiring audiences to see storytelling as an integral part of cultural expression.
