Cebu City, Philippines – Following the success of ULT Power Sound: Vibe Live in BGC, Sony Philippines brought the party to
Cebu with ULT
Power Sound: After Hours at Trademark Bar, Best Hip-hop Club, Cebu.
Marking a milestone for the brand, this first-ever
regional leg of the ULT Power Sound series turned up the volume in the Queen City of the South–celebrating Cebu’s vibrant music scene and fearless creative
energy. From electrifying performances to streetwear-inspired looks, the night
captured the pulse of Cebu’s young and dynamic crowd, proving that the ULT experience hits just as hard beyond
Manila.
Powerful Sound Meets Purpose
Kicking off the event, Mr. Shuhei Sugihara, President and Managing Director of Sony Philippines, welcomed guests and media by presenting Sony’s mission of delivering KANDO–a Japanese term meaning moved emotion–through the power of creativity and technology. He emphasized Sony’s goal of inspiring the next generation of creators, saying, “We aim to be the brand that’s chosen by the next generation around the world to continuously create Kando moments.” Sugihara also reaffirmed Sony’s commitment to merging innovation and emotion across its entertainment businesses–from music and movies to gaming and imaging.

A Night
of Bold Performances
Headliners KAIA, Shoti and SZHD ignited the stage with powerful performances that embodied the ULT spirit–unapologetically loud, creative, and energetic. SZHD, known for their “Sacrifice, Zeal, Heart, and Determination” opened the night with a powerful performance that showcased their dynamic dance moves. They gained international recognition by performing at the East Asia Super League (EASL) Final Four 2024 and they also have the title of the official dance choreography team for the Sinulog 2025 Free Interpretation Category.

Ending the night with explosive flair, KAIA, the
all-female P-pop group known for their strong vocals and empowering hits,
showcased their distinct bubblegum sound and vibrant energy. Performing hits
like “Turn Up” and “Walang Biruan”, alongside their fan favorites like “Dalawa”
and their viral TikTok hit “TANGA”. KAIA showcased their signature blend of
confidence and charisma, perfectly matching the night’s bold and electrifying
ULT vibe.

Guests also got an inside look at the latest ULT Power Sound line up as Mr. Arbie Bandiling, Senior Product & Marketing Communications Executive – Personal Audio Systems, discussed how the series combines cutting-edge technology with fashion and lifestyle. “Customers today don’t just look for functionality–they use their gadgets as a form of self-expression.” He also highlighted the ULT Button for customizable bass, Sound Field Optimization for enhanced clarity, and stylish designs that allow users to “Carry the party wherever they go.”

Demo zones are situated within the venue featuring the
ULT Power Sound lineup–ULT Tower

10,999) and ULT Mic (SRP 9,999). The Tower
models impressed with deep, room-shaking bass and vibrant lighting effects, while the Field speakers
showcased portability and powerful clarity.
Completing the experience, the ULT Mic delivered studio-level vocal precision,
matching the night’s dynamic live acts. Keeping the part alive in between sets
was DJ Steve
Cortes, who amped up the crowd with his signature
beats and mixes, perfectly complementing the night’s bold and high-energy
atmosphere.
