In response to the emotional and social challenges recently experienced by the local community, Children’s Paradise Montessori School (CPMS) announced that it is opening its special one-day workshop, “FILIAL PLAY: Healing Families, Building Resilience, and Thriving Together,” to the public.
Scheduled on December 15, 2025, at Montebello Villa Hotel, the workshop aims to provide families with guided support through therapeutic play, reflective activities, and opportunities for meaningful parent–child connection. The event is designed not only for enrolled families but for all households seeking a safe and nurturing environment to process experiences, rebuild relationships, and strengthen emotional resilience. The program incorporates filial play principles—an evidence-based approach that empowers parents to support their children’s emotional needs through structured, empathic play.
Participants will engage in facilitated sessions that encourage communication, emotional expression, and cooperative problem-solving. The workshop underscores CPMS’s ongoing advocacy for mental wellbeing and its commitment to community-centered educational initiatives.
Families interested in joining may register by scanning the QR code provided in the event poster or by accessing the registration link: https://forms.gle/DiK8yDjdEVmHwumE8.
