Cebu’s business leaders and stakeholders converged on December 5, 2025, at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu for the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (CCCI) 4th General Membership Meeting, where Senator Erwin T. Tulfo served as the keynote speaker.

The gathering also marked the induction of 15 new member enterprises representing diverse industries poised to contribute expertise, investment, and strategic collaborations to Cebu’s expanding business ecosystem. Their entry underscored a shared commitment to advancing economic growth and supporting CCCI’s LEAD A-MUST agenda.

Senator Erwin Tulfo, a veteran broadcaster and former Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), delivered a recorded message highlighting the need to strengthen good governance and reinforce accountability in crisis response and anti-corruption efforts. Tulfo, known for his longstanding advocacy for swift public service and support for vulnerable sectors, emphasized the importance of responsive and compassionate governance as Cebu continued its post-disaster rehabilitation efforts and work toward building a more resilient local economy. His career has been marked by numerous recognitions, including the Asia’s Best Broadcaster Award in 2015 and being named one of the Most Trusted Media Personalities in 2016.

In line with the season of giving, CCCI members and attendees donated gifts and essential items to support Cebuanos who had been affected by recent calamities, reflecting the Chamber’s dedication to community solidarity and social responsibility.

General Membership Meetings have long served as a platform for networking, learning, and collaboration among Cebu’s business community. The event reinforced CCCI’s mission to strengthen the local business environment, uphold integrity, and inspire collective action among its members.
