Alliance Française de Cebu is proud to announce Cebu’s participation in Goût de France (Good France) 2026, the global celebration of French gastronomy taking place from May 18 to 30, 2026.

Initiated in 2015 by Alain Ducasse, the #GoûtdeFrance / #GoodFrance event is inspired by Auguste Escoffier’s “dîners d’Épicure” in 1912, with the aim of promoting French cuisine abroad.

Since 2010, French gastronomy has been listed as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO and is considered one of the key pillars of France’s tourism appeal. The event is coordinated by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. “Goût de/Good France” is part of a broader series of initiatives promoting French gastronomy to enhance its visibility both in France and internationally, with around 5,000 participating restaurants worldwide.

Through Goût de France, Cebu becomes a place of encounter where gastronomy transcends borders and creates dialogue between cultures. This celebration highlights not only the excellence and creativity of French culinary heritage, but also the remarkable talent, hospitality, and dynamism of Cebu’s chefs and institutions...

Together, they remind us that the table remains one of the most elegant expressions of friendship between peoples,” said Nicolas Facino, Executive Director of Alliance Française de Cebu.

In the Philippines, the event is organized by the Embassy of France in the Philippines in partnership locally with Alliance Française de Cebu. This year, around twenty restaurants are participating nationwide, including three in Cebu City: Feria by Radisson Blu Cebu, Café des Amis, and Michel’s.

To mark the occasion, members of the press were cordially invited to a press conference on May 14, 2026 (Thursday) at 3:00 PM, at the Santa Maria 1 Ballroom, 2/F Radisson Blu Cebu regarding the festival’s local festivities, featuring a first look at the curated menus and an introduction to the participating chefs.

Feria by Radisson Blu Cebu

As the flagship restaurant of Radisson Blu Cebu, Feria will headline the celebration with a specialized French culinary showcase from May 16–17, 2026 within its award-winning international buffet lead by the French Chef Romuald Marie.

Café des Amis

Bringing the charm of a Parisian neighborhood café to Cebu. Café des Amis will host an exclusive lunch service this May 16, 2026.

Michel’s

The celebration continues at Michel’s, a bistro renowned for its "farm-to-table" philosophy. Michel’s will offer a curated three-course French menu from May 18-30, 2026.
