The stage is set for an electrifying night of boxing as “Fist of Fury 10: The Eliminator” takes centerstage on May 9 at the Cebu Coliseum.

Bannering the card is an explosive showdown featuring undefeated Cebuano contender Ian Paul Abne (12-0-2, 4KOs), currently ranked No. 4 by the International Boxing Federation (IBF), as he faces hard-hitting Chinese challenger DianXing Zhu (16-1, 14KOs), the division’s No. 3 contender. At stake is the IBF minimumweight world title eliminator, with the winner earning the right to challenge reigning champion Pedro Taduran for the coveted world crown. The event is spearheaded by Cebuano boxing patron Lorenzo "Chao" Sy of Chao Sy International Promotions, who continues to lead the charge in revitalizing Cebu’s once-thriving boxing scene. Long regarded as the “Mecca of Boxing” in Asia, Cebu’s rich fight tradition took a hit during the pandemic, but efforts like this aim to restore its former glory. There is no better setting than the historic Cebu Coliseum, a venue that has hosted countless memorable bouts since the 1960s. Adding more firepower to the card are two title fights on the undercard. Jimuel Aranas (8-3-1, 4KOs) of Chao Sy Stable takes on Jeric Noynay (5-2, 1KO) for the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Silver flyweight belt. Meanwhile, John Paul Gabunilas (10-4, 7KOs) collides with Ramil Roda Jr. (7-3-2, 4KOs) for the Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) super flyweight title.
