CEBU CITY, Philippines — A new destination for Cebuano comfort food and celebrations has officially opened its doors at APM Prime with the grand launch and blessing of Lami-Ah Lechon and Seafoods on June 9, 2026.

Following a successful media launch held on May 25, 2026, the restaurant welcomed guests, partners, and well-wishers to mark the beginning of its journey as one of Cebu City's newest dining destinations. Behind Lami-Ah Lechon and Seafoods is a group of entrepreneurs composed of Warren Go, Jedfrey Tan, Sheryl Tan, Sharleen Cua Ho, Richard Cua Ho, Jot Chiongbian, Lesley Go, Chacha Basaรฑes, Debbie Cua Ho, and Stanley Ling, who came together with a shared vision of creating a dining destination rooted in Cebuano culture and community.

For co-owner Jot Chiongbian, the restaurant was built around a simple but meaningful idea: food has the power to bring people together. "In Filipino culture, some of our most memorable moments happen around the dining table," Chiongbian shared. "Whether it's celebrating a graduation, gathering for a family reunion, marking a birthday, or simply enjoying a meal after a long day, we wanted to create a place where people can come together and make memories."

This philosophy is reflected not only in the menu but also in the restaurant's design. Upon entering Lami-Ah, guests are welcomed by bright, spacious interiors inspired by local craftsmanship and traditional Filipino elements. The space features bamboo accents, amakan ceilings, abaca lighting fixtures, and locally inspired artwork that pay tribute to Cebu's cultural identity while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's name itself embodies a familiar Cebuano expression often used when describing delicious food, "Lami-ah!". A fitting introduction to a menu that highlights beloved Filipino and Cebuano dishes.

At the heart of the menu is Cebu's beloved Talisay lechon, available in both regular and spicy variants. Diners can begin their meal with appetizers such as Ngohiong, Kinamatisang Danggit, Ensaladang Talong, and other local favorites. For soup lovers, Lami-Ah offers comforting selections including Sinigang na Lechon sa Pakwan, Mongocharon, Halaan Soup, Fish Tinola, and Chicken Tinola. The menu also features a variety of Sinugba specialties, including Grilled Tuna Panga, Pork Belly, alongside classic Filipino barbecue favorites. Guests can enjoy hearty main dishes such as Dinuguan, Lechon Sisig, Lechon Paksiw, Fried Chicken, Sizzling Squid, Bam-i, Pancit Guisado, and more.
To end the meal on a sweet note, diners can choose from Turon, Leche Flan, Special Halo-Halo, or a refreshing Fruit Platter. These pair perfectly with a selection of juices, soft drinks, and beer. Lami-Ah Lechon and Seafoods is open daily for lunch from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and dinner from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Ground Floor of APM Prime, Cebu City.
