For the first time since it began serving Cebuanos with quality grooming and barbering services, TUF Barbershop is celebrating its 11th anniversary with a community fitness event, the TUF Barbershop 11th Year Anniversary Run, scheduled on September 12 at the scenic Mandani Bay in Mandaue City.
Founded by entrepreneurs Stuart Wayne Violanda, RJ/Reece Quiambao, J Lanete III, and Ken Cuizon, TUF Barbershop has grown from a single branch in Cebu into one of the region's leading grooming brands. An awardee of the SunStar Best of Cebu Grand Slam Winner for Best Barbershop, the company prepares to mark another milestone year, CEO Violanda wanted a celebration that would not only honor the company's journey but also promote health and wellness among the Cebuano community. "We wanted to do something different and meaningful to celebrate our 11th anniversary," said Violanda. "A fun run is the perfect activity because it brings people together, encourages a healthy lifestyle, and allows participants to enjoy a memorable experience with family and friends." Since opening its first branch in September 2015, TUF Barbershop has steadily expanded its footprint across Cebu and the Philippines. To date, it operates 29 branches in Cebu, 10 across VisMin, and 1 in Makati that will open in July. TUF serves thousands of loyal and first-time customers seeking premium grooming services and exceptional customer care.According to Violanda, the running event reflects the company's belief that personal wellness goes beyond appearance.
"At TUF, we believe good health and good grooming go hand in hand. We have always been committed to helping our clients look and feel their best. Through this event, we hope to inspire more people to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle while celebrating this milestone with us," he added.
To make the occasion even more significant, the run will be held a day before TUF Barbershop's official anniversary on September 13.
For the event's technical operations, TUF Barbershop has tapped respected Cebu race organizer Joel Juarez of Coco Running to oversee and manage the race.
