POP MART Brings Blind-Box Craze to Cebu

POP MART is expanding its presence in the Philippines beyond
Metro Manila with the opening of its first pop-up store in Cebu City on June 5
at Ayala Center Cebu, marking the brand's first entry into the Visayas market.
The Cebu store features one of the well loved characters of
the brand, CRYBABY. The opening follows POP MART's rapid expansion in Metro
Manila, where the brand launched multiple locations over the past six months,
including SM Megamall, SM Aura, SM North EDSA and Mall of Asia.
The Cebu opening reflects POP MART's continued expansion beyond the capital as demand for character-led collectibles grows among younger consumers.
The Cebu expansion comes as retailers increasingly view the
Visayas region as a high-growth consumer market, supported by rising disposable
incomes, tourism recovery and the continued growth of business process
outsourcing operations in the province.
POP MART, known globally for its "blind box" retail concept, has built a loyal following through designer toys and limited-edition collaborations that turn collectible purchases into a gamified and exciting shopping experience.
This expansion in the Philippines reflects broader momentum
