𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘅 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻̃𝗼

 

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Priland Development Corporation officially launched the construction of its newest condominium project, VERTEX COAST, with a groundbreaking ceremony held Thursday morning, July 9, in Barangay Punta Engaño, Mactan, marking another milestone in the company's expansion in Cebu's growing real estate sector.

The ceremony began at 10 a.m. and gathered company executives, project partners, contractors, media  and invited guests to commemorate the official start of construction. The event highlighted the company's continued investment in premium residential developments in one of Lapu-Lapu City's rapidly developing coastal communities. 

A key feature of the ceremony was the dropping of a ceremonial time capsule, a long-standing tradition in construction projects. Led by Mr. Ramon Carlo Yap, the President of Priland Development Corporation The capsule was placed beneath the project site as a symbolic marker of the development's beginning and as a historical record intended for future generations.

Another highlight was the ceremonial shovel dig, considered the defining moment of every groundbreaking event. Wearing safety hard hats, company officials used gold-painted ceremonial shovels to turn the first scoops of soil, formally signaling the start of construction for Vertex Coast.

Located in Barangay Punta Engaño, the project is expected to add to the area's continuing urban growth, which has been driven by tourism, infrastructure improvements and increasing demand for residential developments in Mactan.

Company officials described Vertex Coast as part of Priland Development Corporation's commitment to expanding its portfolio while contributing to Cebu's economic development. The project is expected to generate employment opportunities during construction and further strengthen investment activity in Lapu-Lapu City's property sector.

With the groundbreaking rites completed, construction is now set to move forward, with additional updates on the project's development timeline expected to be announced in the coming months.
