World Travel Expo Year 10 Opens in Cebu, Bringing Extraordinary Journeys and Exceptional Memories to Ayala Center Cebu

World Travel Expo (WTE) Year 10 officially opened yesterday at Ayala Center Cebu, bringing together destinations, tourism businesses, travel professionals, and travelers for three days of discovery, connection, and new opportunities.

WTE Year 10 Cebu 2026
Running from August 14–16, 2026, the Cebu leg of the nationwide Year 10 series carries the theme “Xtraordinary Journeys, Xceptional Memories,” celebrating the experiences, relationships, and stories that make travel meaningful. The opening marks an important moment for World Travel Expo as it continues its 10th-year journey across the Philippines. More than showcasing destinations, WTE brings together the people who help move tourism forward, creating a space where travelers can discover new possibilities and industry partners can build meaningful connections.

For Miles Caballero, Managing Director of World Travel Expo, the significance of Year 10 goes beyond reaching a milestone. “When we started this journey, our hope was simple: to create a place where people could discover destinations, build meaningful connections, and experience the stories behind travel.” Ten years later, that vision continues through the support and participation of the tourism community.

The gathering in Cebu also highlights the important role of the region in Philippine tourism. Known for its rich heritage, vibrant culture, beautiful destinations, and warm hospitality, Cebu continues to welcome travelers and create experiences that leave lasting impressions.

Over the next three days, visitors at Ayala Center Cebu can explore travel opportunities, discover destinations, meet tourism businesses, and find inspiration for their next journey. More than a travel event, World Travel Expo Year 10 aims to create a space where conversations begin, partnerships grow, and people come together through a shared love for travel.

World Travel Expo Year 10 runs from August 14–16, 2026, at Ayala Center Cebu. The journey continues in Cebu, where extraordinary journeys meet exceptional memories.
