Where Healthy Choices Meet Good Food at Daniel’s Diet Cebu
As Journeyscapes with Ludy and fellow media friends gathered at the restaurant inside Wellcome Hotel along Molave Street, the table quickly filled with colorful plant-based dishes. The food was fresh, flavorful and, surprisingly, as in "surprisingly" satisfying. The Ala Danggit was truly a revelation for me. Try it and you'll know why.
“Mag-vegan na ba ko ani? Di jud ma ilhan nga vegan ni” one guest joked, capturing the mood around the table.
But the conversation soon became more serious as owner Eliel shared insights about plant-based food and addressed common myths surrounding the lifestyle. Her story offered a glimpse into the passion behind Daniel’s Diet and its advocacy for healthier choices.
Their tagline aptly describes what kind of food you can expect here: Discover the essence of plant-based living, inspired by Daniel and the Garden of Eden Diet. Substance ra di ba? But a quote that hangs on their wall should make you rethink, as in "hinuktok", of the Daily food choices you make, "It costs money to stay healthy, But it's even more expensive to get sick"
The experience also went beyond food. Coach Kristine of Dating Forward led a discussion on relationship compatibility, encouraging guests to reflect on self-awareness, values and the connections they build with others.
For some guests, the visit was especially eye-opening. Hearing stories of people who moved from meat-heavy diets toward plant-based living showed that changing one’s habits does not necessarily mean sacrificing enjoyment.
Perhaps that is Daniel’s Diet’s most compelling message: healthy living begins not with deprivation, but with better choices—one delicious bite at a time.
