Manila, Philippines — NUSTAR Resort Cebu, the Philippines’ premier integrated resort destination in the Visayas and Mindanao, has been named “Hotel of the Year” at the 7th Philippine Sports Tourism Awards, held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City last August 24, 2026.

The recognition marks NUSTAR’s first win at the Philippine Sports Tourism Awards, highlighting the resort’s growing role in positioning Cebu as a destination for sports tourism. NUSTAR was recognized for its efforts in hosting and supporting major sporting events, providing world-class hospitality and event facilities for athletes and sports enthusiasts, and creating opportunities that bring sports and tourism together in Cebu.
