CCIP Brings Two-Day Good Manufacturing Practices Training to Cebu for Cosmetics Industry Stakeholders

Cosmetic manufacturers, quality assurance professionals, regulatory specialists, suppliers, and other industry stakeholders from the Visayas and Mindanao will have an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge of product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance through a two-day Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Training and Workshop scheduled on November 26–27, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Cebu. Organized by the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines (CCIP), the training carries the theme “Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Ensuring Quality, Safety, and Compliance in Cosmetic Product Manufacturing.” The program aims to deepen participants’ understanding of GMP requirements and their practical application in cosmetic manufacturing, emphasizing the importance of maintaining quality standards, ensuring product safety, and complying with applicable regulations. As consumer awareness of cosmetic product safety and quality continues to grow, manufacturers face increasing expectations to adopt responsible production practices and implement effective quality management systems. GMP serves as an important foundation for ensuring that cosmetic products are consistently manufactured and controlled according to established quality standards. Through the two-day training, participants are expected to gain practical insights into GMP principles, exchange industry experiences, and learn approaches that can help strengthen manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance within their respective organizations. The Cebu leg also provides an accessible learning opportunity for businesses and professionals across the Visayas and Mindanao, allowing them to connect with fellow industry players and discuss shared challenges and developments in the cosmetics sector. Beyond technical learning, the workshop is expected to encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing among manufacturers, suppliers, and professionals involved in different aspects of the cosmetic product value chain. For businesses seeking to improve their operations and reinforce consumer confidence, understanding and implementing GMP principles can be an important step toward building a more reliable, quality-driven, and safety-conscious cosmetics industry.
